1948 camper

>

This goes out to all that are interested in our 1948 Vintage Camper. Like most campers of this vintage, there is no interior bathroom. Many of you have requested some interior pictures, here they are! If there are any more particulars, feel free to ask questions.

Picture of the bed with new curtains.

The desk area adjacent to the bed, showing the old curtains.

A shot of the refrigerator, the closet on the right is in the bedroom area.

Front closet, old floor picture. This is where some people have added a porta-potty. There is a propane line that comes into the lower cabinet. On the left, right below the outlet is where we currently have a wood stove (not included) and where you would put the propane furnace if so desired, there is a vent in the roof for the furnace. The entry door is just to the left of the picture.

Galley, roof vent cranks open. Sink and countertops could use some kind of refinishing/polishing. Three burner stove and oven.

Here is a close up of the floor. It is Armstrong commercial vinyl tiles. It is a random pattern of beige, light yellow and darker yellow.

Here is a shot of the front of the camper. You can see where we removed the paneling and added the aluminum flashing. We replaced the insulation and substructre behind the flashing. This is where you could add a dinette/couch/etc....

Here is the front corner just to the front of the entry door. You can see the one propane light.
